Problem summary

  • The crash was observed because of switching display mode to/from
8 bit during the application startup. This issue was specific to
win2k8 and Win vista.

Problem conclusion

  • JVM has been modified to avoid crash while switching display
mode to/from 8 bit during the application startup.

This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR12 FP4
