Error description

• Error Message: A persistence delegate is required to be provided
  by customer in IBMJDK6 when customer wants to encode an Enum
  Object, while without this delegate, SUNJDK can successfully
  encode it.

Local fix

Problem summary

• This is a difference between SUNJDK and IBMJDK. For java5 of
  both IBMJDK and SUNJDK, it throws error messages:
  Exception during encoding:java.lang.Exception: failed to write
  expression: Snippet$Element=Class.new();
  Continue...
  Exception during encoding:java.lang.Exception: failed to write
  expression: Snippet$Element=Class.new();
  Continue...
  But for java6 of SUNJDK, it successfully encodes the enum type
  object while IBMJDK still throws the error message.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR9
  .
  An default persistence delegate is added to beans module for
  processing Enum type object.
  .
  To obtain the fix:
  Install build 20100920 or later
