transformation when using predicates with a self::node()
expression

Local fix

  • Avoid using self::node() in XPath expressions, and instead refer
to the context item implicitly

Problem summary

  • Predicates on a self::node() expression may be ignored in
compiling XSLT processor

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR12 FP3
.
Expressions containing predicates on a self::node() expression,
such as "self::node()<OSB>@attr=...<CSB>/@attr" will now be
evaluated correctly.

To obtain the fix:
Install build 20101127 or later
