Error description

  • Error Message: On WINDOWS, waitFor method is returning
immediately with InterruptedException though no interrupt is
delivered to that thread at that point of time.

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when a thread is interrupted while
executing methods like sleep, join, etc and its interrupted
state was not reset after the interrupt processed.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR13
6.0.0 SR9
.
JVM has been updated to reset the thread's interrupt state once
the interrupt processed
.
To obtain the fix:
Install build 20100915 or later
