Error Message: N/A . Stack Trace: N/A . Customer reported the issue that the sequence in which the setXXX methods of the receiving bean are called are no longer called in the order that they were called in jre 1.4 and 1.6. In case of 1.4 and 1.6 they are called in alphabetical order. In short, Order of fields that are retrieved through introspection should be the same as it was in JDK 1.4 i.e. alphabetical order.
Local fix
Problem summary
The issue was observed because in case of IBM 5.0 java, the Introspector use to store properties in a HashMap and HashMap not store the elements in order.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR12 FP3 . IBM 5.0 JDK has been updated so that the order of fields that are retrieved through introspection comes in alphabetical order. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20101027 or later
