  compilation of a method, most commonly
  java/io/DataOutputStream.writeUTF.

  The problem only occurs with Java 6 on System z hardware, while
  running with a Java agent that uses class redefinition.
  

Local fix

• This issue can be avoided by disabling the Java agent or by
  using the Java option -Xjit:disableIdiomRecognition.
  

Problem summary

• The problem is caused when the JIT compiler attempts to perform
  hardware-assisted optimization on a method, whose bytecodes have
  been altered by the use of class redefinition.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  6.0.0 SR9
  .
  The JIT compiler has been updated to prevent the crash when
  optimizing such methods.
