Error description

Problem summary

  • The Health Center requires the JIT sampling thread to be active
in order to produce method profiles. Up until Java 6 SR8, the
    JIT
disables the sampling thread under some circumstances that puts
the JIT into the so called "Full Speed Debug" mode. Examples of
such cases include the use of debuggers (such as JDWP) or
monitoring tools (such as Wily Introscope or Mercury). In these
cases Health Center was not able show any method profiling
    information.
Starting with Java 6 SR8 the JIT sampling thread will no longer
be disabled in Full Speed Debug mode.

Problem conclusion

  • JIT sampling thread not disabled in Full Speed Debug Mode

This new function will be available in:
    6.0.0 SR8
    5.0.0 SR12
