Problem summary
When writing a JVMTI agent that uses late attach, the Agent_OnAttach() function in the agent is called with the bootstrap class loader as the context class loader. This restricts any JNI calls to FindClass called in the agent to classes present on the bootclass path.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR12 . The Attach API has been modified to use the application class loader when loading agents. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20091124 or later
