    shutdown in extremely rare cases.  The result would be
    DestroyJavaVM returning JNI_ERR.

Problem summary

  • Very small timing hole in the VM shutdown code could cause
    recently-dead daemon threads to prevent VM shutdown
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR12

    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20100128 or later
