IBM JVM cannot display all the Big5-HKSCS chars with NIO converter. This feature is to enable IBM JVM to support NIO converters for Big5-HKSCS characters.

IBM JVM cannot display all the Big5-HKSCS chars with NIO converter.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR12 . We have proposed a work around by introducing a command line property, '-Dcom.ibm.nio.useIBMAlias' which can be set to false so that customer can use ICU4J APIs to display Big5-HKSCS characters without modifying the application. . . To obtain the fix: Install build 20100518 or later
