Error description

  • Lotus Mobile Connect 6.1.4
    
    Connection Manager configured for HTTP Access Services.  The
    most noticeable external symptom for this problem is that no new
    HTTP Access Services connections are made nor does any data for
    existing sessions seem to be processed.  Other side symptoms of
    this problem have been a high memory consumption by the
    wgated.exe process and perhaps a large number of TCP sessions in
    the CLOSE_WAIT state.
    

Local fix

  • Restart the wgated.exe process

    A formal fix for this problem will be included in all product
    releases AFTER 6.1.4.  Until that time a temporary fix may be
    obtained from the IBM Lotus Mobile Connect Support Center.

Problem conclusion

  • Timing hole discovered that causes queue size delta errors.
    Long runs have now been completed with 1000's of simultaneous
    sessions.
    

Temporary fix

  • A temporary fix is now available for this APAR from the IBM
    Lotus Mobile Connect (LMC) Level 2 support center.  To obtain
    this fix please open a Problem Management Record (PMR) either by
    submitting a Service Request from the LMC Support Portal at -
