APAR status

Error description

  • The FileTransfer program is currently unable to pull files from
the Z/OS file system, currently it is defaulting to the UNIX
file system.

Local fix

  • There is no local work around for this issue.

The issue is resolved in the 7.1.3 version of TUAM. Note that
this fix will be made available on TUAM 7.1.3 only and not on
previous versions.

Problem summary

  • The issue was due to absent logic in the FileTransfer program to
handle a Z/OS type file system.

Problem conclusion

  • 



Temporary fix


    

  • The resolution to this issue was to update the JobRunner code to
allow the Step to be configured for a Z/OS file system, with a
new parameter in the Step (<Parameter IsZOS="true" />).

This fix will only be available to the TUAM 7.1.3 release, and
not on previous versions.
