    handler is not invoked when application handler is installed in
    JNI application
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Signal chaining functionality calls in the application code is
    not intercepted by the JSIG library. The runtime linker links
    incorrectly those calls with system library definition.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR12
    6.0.0 SR9
    .
    JVM has been modified to reorder the linking order to give first
    preference to the JSIG library then the system library when
    signal chaining functionality is used
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20100402 or later
