Level 3 to update
SURNAME, SN, TITLE, and T distinguished name attributes PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Within the PKCS AVA.java class there are a few cases where more than one string maps to the same "attribute OID". For example, SURNAME and SN. Also, TITLE and T. The ordering of these attribute definitions within AVA.java can determine how a distinguished name that contains one of these attributes will be displayed. For example: T=Private Person, EMAILADDRESSemail@example.com, SERIALNUMBER=10100713470000262530, GIVENNAME=John, SURNAME=Doe TEST, CN=Joe Doe TEST, C=US or TITLE=Private Person, EMAILADDRESSfirstname.lastname@example.org, SERIALNUMBER=10100713470000262530, GIVENNAME=John, SN=Doe TEST, CN=John Doe TEST, C=US
The fix applied to the AVA.java class for this apar, ensures that the ordering of these attribute definitions matches Sun's. The associated Hursley CMVC defect is 163777. The associated Austin CMVC defect is 110141. The fix is available in: 5.0 SR11 FP2 6.0 SR8 . The affected jar is "ibmpkcs.jar". The build level of this jar for Java 5.0, and 6.0 is 20100323.
