workaround can have a significant impact on the performance of
the application.

Problem summary

  • The JIT incorrect devirtualized an interface call whose receiver
type was an abstract call. This devirtualization is not correct
as the concrete type is not known.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR12


The JIT optimizer has been changed to fix this problem.

Temporary fix

  • -Xjit:disableGlobalVP,disableLocalVP . Please note that this
workaround can have a significant impact on the performance of
the application.
