Local fix

  • The single-line WTO entries can be concatenated, or the WTO
entry can be shortened so it fits in one WTO call.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused when the JVM writes messages to the z/OS
operator console using the WTO call.  When long messages were
written, the JVM split the messages into multiple WTO calls,
rather than using the facilities built in to z/OS for
"multiline" WTO calls.

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
6.0.0 SR8 FP1

The JVM has been updated to correctly issue multiline WTO calls.

Install build 20100409 or later
