IZ70410: DNS SERVER IS LOOKED USING WRONG KEYWORD ON Z/OS

Error description

• Error Message: The property "java.naming.provider.url" is
  correctly populated on distributed environments, but not on z/OS
  (where it is null)

Local fix

Problem summary

• JVM is designed to fetch the DNS information from
  /etc/resolv.conf file on all UNIXes including z
  /OS. However, on z/OS, it is not mandatory to have
  /etc/resolv.conf file.  Hence the DNS information would be
  populated with null in such scenarios on z/OS
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  5.0.0 SR11 FP2
  .
  JVM on z/OS has updated to invoke API res_init(),which
  internally follows the search order on
  z/OS to fetch the required DNS information.
  .
  To obtain the fix:
  Install build 20100409 or later
