    Similarly, the medium format date for Croatian locale should be
    dd.MM.yyyy, but Java 5 shows the format as yyyy.MM.dd.

Problem summary

  • The problem is seen on Croatian locale as the JVM is using wrong
    Medium and Short date format for the above locale.
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR11 FP2
    .
    The JVM is updated to use the correct date format for Croatian
    locale by porting changes from
    Sunbug 6645271 to IBM JDK 5.0.
    .
    To obtain the fix:
    Install build 20100331 or later
