APAR status

Error description

  • Running Spreadsheet on IE with EXCEL installed, EXCEL format is
    forced.  You don't get the option of PDF or EXCEL.
    Also, If running Spreadsheet on Firefox with EXCEL installed,
    you do get the option to select the format but, the report is
    too small to read.
    

Local fix

  • There is no known workaround for the stated issue with Excel on
    IE.
    
    For the Firefox compatibility issue, the work-around here to
    view the report is to right-click on the small report result and
    select "This Frame" - "Open Frame in New Tab" or "Open Frame in
    New Window".  The report can then be easily seen.
    

Problem summary

  • The Firefox issue will be fixed in TUAM 7.1.3.
    
    The Excel issue will be investigated and the Microsoft Report
    Viewer will be updated in TUAM 7.1.3.
