Local fix

  • -Xjit:disableGlobalVP,disableLocalVP will workaround this
    problem. However, please note that disabling these optimizations
    may affect performance of the application.
    

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by a bug in the V1R6 xlC++ compiler which
    causes a crash in the C++ code of the JIT compiler itself
    

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR12
    
    The JIT compiler code has been modified to workaround the xlC
    compiler bug.
