Local fix

  • -Xjit:disableGlobalVP,disableLocalVP will workaround this
problem. However, please note that disabling these optimizations
may affect performance of the application.

Problem summary

  • The problem is caused by a bug in the V1R6 xlC++ compiler which
causes a crash in the C++ code of the JIT compiler itself

Problem conclusion

  • This defect will be fixed in:
    5.0.0 SR12

The JIT compiler code has been modified to workaround the xlC
    compiler bug.

Temporary fix
