Problem summary


    

  • IBM are now generating FixPack versions of Java5 VMs, between
Service Refreshes.  These FixPacks will contain customer fixes,
security updates and timezone updates, but no new features.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • This defect will be fixed in:
5.0.0 SR11 FP1
.
The JVMs have been updated to display the FixPack version in
their version string eg (SR11 FP1).
.
To obtain the fix:
Install build 20091218 or later
