This APAR tracks the release of update 3.1.0.3 of the IBM CICS
Performance Analyzer plug-in for the CICS Explorer.

This is a minor update that adds in the IBM hosted Eclipse
Update-Site as part of the plug-in to allow users to more easily
search for updates to the plug-in when they choose.

Problem conclusion

  • This update is available from both the IBM hosted update-site to
allow users to update from within the CICS Explorer, or via IBM
    Fix Central.

This update requires the CICS Explorer to be at least at
1.0.0.2. Before installing this CICS Performance Analyzer
plug-in update the CICS Explorer should be updated to at least
    this level.

If it hasn't already been added manually by the user, in order
to use the IBM hosted Eclipse update-site added by 3.1.0.3, it
needs to be manually selected once the CICS Performance Analyzer
plug-in has been updated to 3.1.0.3.

This can be done by selecting Help > Software Updates... from
the main menu; click on the "Available Software" tab, and then
click on "Manage Sites...". Now find the CICS Performance
Analyzer update site that has a location of
    "http://download.boulder.ibm.com/
    ibmdl/pub/software/htp/cics/updates/pa/" (URL concatenated) and
check the checkbox if not already checked. Click the OK button.
This will allow the CICS Performance Analyzer update-site to be
searched when updates are searched for by clicking on the
"Update..." button under the "Installed Software" tab.

For information on installing this update see:
    http://download.boulder.ibm.com
    /ibmdl/pub/software/htp/cics/updates/pa/readme.html (concatenate
    url)

For information on updating the CICS Explorer see:
    http://download.boulder.ibm.com
    /ibmdl/pub/software/htp/cics/updates/explorer/readme.html
    (concatenate url)
