IZ61955: JAVA 5 JIT CRASHES DURING COMPILATION
Closed as program error.
Error Message: A SIGSEGV/GPF is received during the JIT compilation of a Java method. The resulting javacore dump records the VM flags as 0x0005FF05. The problem is likely to appear in an application which makes heavy use of reflection and hence causes a lot of class loading and unloading. The problem disappears if interpreter profiling is disabled. . This issue can be avoided using the -Xjit:disableInterpreterProfiling option.
The crash occurs when the JIT compiler attempts to use profiled data that have become invalid due to class unloading.
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR11 . The JIT compiler has been updated to avoid the crash. . To obtain the fix: Install build 20090928 or later
