Problem summary

• Delay is seen when parent process tries to terminate IO stream
  of the child process, entering a wait state until the child
  process terminates.
  

Problem conclusion

• This defect will be fixed in:
  5.0.0 SR11
  .
  The fix restores the original behavior of java. That is, parent
  can close the stream and continue its operations instead of
  waiting child's termination.
  .
  To obtain the fix:
  Install build 20090926 or later
