Local fix
We can work around the problem by disabling the debug port.
Problem summary
JVM terminates when pinged to JWDP port as debug port functionality is not working correctly.
Problem conclusion
This defect will be fixed in: 5.0.0 SR11 . Porting the sun bug 6306165 to IBM Java SDK5 resolves the problem . To obtain the fix: Install build 20091007 or later
