  • Applying the REOPT optimizer guideline with VALUE='ALWAYS' to a
    dynamic SQL statement containing host variables may return wrong
    results.
    The following is an example of a REOPT ALWAYS guideline:
    <OPTGUIDELINES><REOPT VALUE='ALWAYS' /> </OPTGUIDELINES>
    
    REOPT VALUE='ONCE' works as expected.
