  • Use -qnohot.
    

Problem summary

  • In rare cases, users of IPA who use loop optimizations (-qhot)
    may get incorrect output.
    

Problem conclusion

  • An extra temporary variable is introduced by the compiler to
    guarantee a correct output.  Such a variable will only be
    generated if the compiler suspects that this problem may occur.
    There's no perfomance impact with the added temporary variable.
