Local fix

  • Work-around:
Change situation definition and add a condition on any
non-utf-8 column. In some cases, depending on how agent
collector processes utf-8 columns, this work-around might not
    resolve the issue.

Problem summary

  • Situations with UTF-8 attributes and complex functions such as
MIN(), MAX(), AVG(), SUM(), COUNT(), MKTIME, JOIN, etc. fail on
    z/OS and i5/OS.

Problem conclusion

  • New function for UTF-8 data comparison was added.
