Comments
The Microsoft office 7 *.docx file is an Open XML document combining texts, styles, graphics into a single ZIP archive. Its content is a ZIP archive. User needs to add MIME type for Office 7 files to IBM HTTP Server , so that the file can open based on file extension instead of its content. Steps to add MIME type support to IBM HTTP Server: 1. Go to IBM HTTP Server installation conf directory, for example C:\IBMIHS\conf 2. Make a backup copy of "mime.types" file, then open "mime.types" file in a text editor, under line application/msword doc , add line: application/vnd.openxmlformats docx pptx xlsx 3. Restart IBM http administration and IBM http Server services.
