  • Some implementation specific _vft* symbols disappear from
objects built with -qnoweaksymbol using the V9 compiler.
For users of shared objects, this can affect the interface.

compiler should keep them, even when weak symbols are not used.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler now keeps these symbols, even when -qnoweaksymbol
is specified.
