IZ19225: TFIM 6.1.1 FIXPACK INSTALLATION FAILS WITH SOAP ERROR IF WAS SECURITY SETTINGS CHANGE

APAR status

• Closed as documentation error.

Error description

• FIM fixpack install fails with SOAP error. Websphere global
  security is turned on. However, global security was turned on
  after FIM install.
  
  Therefore FIM files are out of sync with Websphere configuration
  

Local fix

• modify <FIM install root>/etc/fim.appservers.properties to
  include global security configuration

Problem summary

• When TFIM 6.1.1 is isntalled without WebSphere
  security turned on initially then WAS security is enabled, a sub
  sequent TFIM 6.1.1 fixpack installation fails with a soap error.

• The fix for this APAR is expected to be cont
  ained in the following maintenance delivery vehicles:
