Error description

• The following procedure was added to the Fix Pack 06
  documentation as a work around for the problem descirbed in PMR
  23114,SGC,724 / APAR IY89750.
  
  Installing the JRE on a managed node configured as a gateway
  If installing the 3.9.0 Tivoli Enterprise Console JRE Fix Pack
  on a managed node that is configured as a Tivoli Enterprise
  Console gateway and State Correlation is being used, use the
  following procedure to shut down and disable state correlation
  on the gateway.
  Installing the JRE on a managed node configured as a gateway
  If installing the 3.9.0 Tivoli Enterprise Console JRE Fix Pack
  on a managed node that is configured as a Tivoli Enterprise
  Console gateway and State Correlation is being used, use the
  following procedure to shut down and disable state correlation
  on
  the gateway.
  1. Edit the tec_gateway_sce Adapter Configuration Profile (ACP),
  and set UseStateCorrelation=NO in the EIF
  environment.
  2. Save and Close the tec_gateway_sce ACP.
  3. Distribute the tec_gateway_sce ACP to the target gateway.
  4. Run wstoptecgw on the target gateway.
  After applying the 3.9.0 Tivoli Enterprise Console JRE Fix Pack,
  use the following procedure to re-enable state
  correlation.
  1. Edit the tec_gateway_sce ACP, and set UseStateCorrelation=YES
  in the EIF environment.
  2. Save and Close the tec_gateway_sce ACP.
  3. Distribute the tec_gateway_sce ACP to the target gateway.
  4. Run wstoptecgw on the target gateway.
  
  
  
  This is now done automatically in FP07 JRE installer so this
  procedure is not necessary.

  There was a workaround for installing the JRE on a Managed Node
  when using State Based Correlation in the TEC 3.9 FP7 README.
  This workaround was left over from the FP6 README and is no
  longer necessary in FP7.
  

Problem conclusion

• The unnecessary workaround has been removed from the FP7 README.
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
