  *                      the user tries to minimize it, within   *
  *                      IE, the viewpoint is empty.             *

  The DOM was being reassembled after the viewpoints/iframes
  were resized. So the content of the iframes were being lost in
  the transition.
  

Problem conclusion

• Needed to change the way the page was loading.
