The reason why Analyzer uses up so much memory is because it needs to hold all the TCP packages of the session. Holding only the header data instead of holding the entire page data during the processing time, could not be a solution, since TCP packages do not come in order and the header data may even come in in different pakages at different timing. Analyzer have to hold all the TCP packages then it can put all the package in order before it figures out the header data, and cut response time record. As soon as it cuts the response time record, the momory are freed. There are so many variations of how the TCP packages come in to the system, thus Analyzer has to foresee and make sure it handles all variations correctly.
It is necessary for kfc to hold all the data before it--------- calculated the response time. No workaround found to reduce the memory allocation.
No workaround found and no plan in short term in R&D to-- do this performace enhancement.--------------------------
