the installation process only provides the options to specify the manager server/client port information for the manager client and does not provide the options for the collector during the installation. Therefore, the collector uses the default value for establishing the network connection to the manager client.
The workaround is to edit or create the "collector collector.tmp" file then change/add the following line to reflect the customer's desired port: MGRCLIENT_PORT=9200 On startup the Collector will pick up the new setting and tmp file will be deleted.
