Local fix

  • Start the server with following Java option
-Dcom.ibm.CORBA.UseSchemaIDR=false. Note that there will be a
performance impact as this option disables the optimized path.

Problem summary

  • The optimized path failed to recognize the complex/special Enum
types as Enum and fails later. There are no issues with simple
Enum types.

Problem conclusion

  • The optimized path is updated to recognize the complex/special
Enum types and (un)marshal it without any issues.

This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
   7 R1 SR3       (7.1.3.0)
