Problem summary

  • ORB initialization fails for Singleton ORB The cause of the
failure could be due to ClassNotFoundException

Problem conclusion

  • When Singleton ORB class is not available on system class path
initialization could fail as system class loader fails to load
the class eg. Singleton ORB initialization in Applet
.
This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases:
