Problem summary
In rare circumstances, a race condition can occur resulting in the JVM shutting down twice leading to the JIT double freeing some memory.
Problem conclusion
The JIT has been updated to not double free. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR5 (8.0.5.0) 8 SR5 (8.0.5.0) .
