  • Error Message: User observed a crash of the following form:

Local fix

  • This problem can be worked around using the
-Xjit:disableLoopVersioner option. Note that using this option
may cause a modest performance degradation.

Problem summary

  • The JIT compiler incorrectly optimizes certain frequently
executed loops and emits code that may crash or produce
incorrect results.

Problem conclusion

  • The JIT compiler has been modified to correctly and safely
optimize such loops.
