Error description

  • there are 2 types of FATAL issues happening:

    the Job
    Manager. The error is "Invalid argument".

    .com|AWSITA212E Failed to create the thread pool of
    the
    command handler. The error is "Invalid argument".
    
    Both happen when JobManager is trying to create and initialize
    internal threads for commands handling and job execution.
    When the agent starts at 16:24:22 both happens and also at
    16:37:44.
    In this cases the threads are not created and JobManager stays
    in a hanging state.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • JobManager stays up accepting incoming requests even if it has
    been able to initilaize CommandHandler threads or Executor
    threads. JobManager should quit in similar cases and restart.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The apar will be fixed in TWS 9.1 fp3, TWS 9.2 fp3, TWS 9.3 fp4,
    TWS 9.4 fp2
