Error description
Error Message: Segmentation error . Stack Trace: OMR::ValuePropagation::findOutEdge TR::GlobalValuePropagation::processBlock ... . This issue only occurs on systems with transactional memory.
Local fix
The issue can be avoided by passing -Xjit:disableTLE. This option may degrade performance, but it can be limited to the problematic method.
Problem summary
In rare circumstances the JIT compiler could misconstrue the control flow effect of a transaction start operation, and attempt to find a nonexistent control flow edge.
Problem conclusion
The JIT compiler has been modified so that in these circumstances it only considers valid control flow edges. . This APAR will be fixed in the following Java Releases: 8 SR4 FP10 (8.0.4.10) 7 R1 SR4 FP10 (7.1.4.10) . Contact your IBM Product's Service Team for these Service Refreshes and Fix Packs. For those running stand-alone, information about the available Service Refreshes and Fix Packs can be found at: https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/
