IV97080: PLAN INCORRECTLY EXTENDED BY 36 HOURS AFTER APPLYING FP03

Closed as program error.

Error description

After applying fix-pack 3 (FP03) to our IWS MDM the plan is now
being extended by 36 hours instead of 24 :

 Plan creation start time: 09/22/2012 15:00 TZ Europe/London
 Production plan start time of last extension: 06/12/2017 15:00
 TZ Europe/London
 Production plan end time: 06/14/2017 02:59 TZ Europe/London
 Production plan time extention: 036:00
 Plan last update: 06/11/2017 16:05 TZ Europe/London
 Preproduction plan end time: 06/28/2017 03:00 TZ Europe/London

This happens if the SOD is set in the afternoon (between 13:00
and 23:59).

No issue if customer has the default 9.X SOD (0000) or the 8.X
default morning SOD (0600 for example).

Local fix

You can workaround this issue changing the job that run
the Makeplan using the -for 2400 as input parameter
for the MakePlan.
So you can change the job that run the Makeplan and
add as parameter to it the -for 2400 .
This will extend the plan for 24h.

Problem conclusion

The APAR is fixed in the re-shipped version of the 93FP3, and
affects only the first version of 93FP3 (before it has been
re-published).
