APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • CPU and memory usage increases when the cursor is moved to
    "Delay for days" field on Run Cycles "Time restrictions" tab.
    
    Environment:
    MDM: IWS 9.4.0 GA on RHEL 7.2 (x86-64)
    DWC: DWC 9.4.0 GA on RHEL 7.2 (x86-64)
    
    Replication steps:
    1. SOD=0000
    
    2. Define a job stream:
    SCHEDULE VAN94MDM#JS001
    ON RUNCYCLE RULE1 "FREQ=DAILY"
    ( AT 0001 )
    :
    VAN94MDM#JOB001
    END
    
    3. Login to DWC, "Admnistration" -> "List Workload Definitions"
    and List Job streams.
    
    4. Edit VAN94MDM#JS001 to open "Workload Designer".
    
    5. Click Run Cycles "RULE1" and click "Time restrictions" tab.
    
    6. On Repeat Every section, enter Hours and Minutes. "0 hours 1
    Minute".
    
    7. Enter "Repeat end time", "11:59 PM" , and move the cursor to
    "Delay for days" field.
    
    If CPU and memory usage do not increase, try increasing "Delay
    for days"

  • Use composer.
