Local fix

• This problem can be avoided by using the following JVM option:
  -Xjit:disableMethodHandleThunks
  

Problem summary

• The JIT compiler crashed while de-referencing an incorrectly
  initialized field of a data type, called method handle thunk,
  that is used to represent the call targets for invokedynamic
  bytecodes.
  

Problem conclusion

• The JIT compiler has been modified to make sure the field is
  correctly initialized.
