IV94907: An MQ client receives return code 2119 'MQRC_NOT_CONVERTED' fromMQGET when the supplied message buffer is too small

Error description

  • An MQ Client issues an MQGET and provides a data buffer that is
    too small. RC 2119 MQRC_NOT_CONVERTED is returned to the
    application, but RC 2080 'MQRC_TRUNCATED_MSG_FAILED MQRC_is
    expected.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • This issue has been addressed  in versions 9 and 9.1 by APAR
    IT33028.
