Error description

  • Issue with site field in Location application.
Unable to retrieve records in Location application if an
unauthorized or invalid site is filtered first.
    TPAE 7601
    Replication Steps
1 Login to MAXIMO with a user having security group with access
to Location application but not having Authorize For All Sites
    Access
e.g. User having access to following security groups EVERYONE,
    DEFLTREG, BEDFORD, ITASSETMANAGER
    - I used Wilson as the user (Remove maxadmin from wilson's
security group and add BEDFORDSITE and ITASSETMANAGER group)
    2 Go to Locations application.
3 In List Tab, type BEDFORD in site field and click Enter.
4 All Records within Bedford site will be displayed.
5 Now, in site field type any site value (with which doesn't
exist in the system (e.g. BEDFORD20) and click Enter.
6 No records will be displayed since this site doesn't exist in
    the system. THIS IS CORRECT
7 Again, in site field type BEDFORD and click Enter.
8 No records will be displayed although records related to this
site are present in the system, THIS IS A BUG.
