Error description

  • 1. Create user with a Arizona timezone and the AppServer/Db
    server is on CST timezone.
    2. Created Building record with "In Service Date of 1/13/2017"
    current time was 11:40am.
3 Create a Query of building with columns name and in service
    date
The values from the query are ok but when you export it to
Excel the date on the export of "In Service Date reflects a day
    before (1/12/2017).

Local fix

  • No

Problem summary

  • The issue was that export Excel was not correctly using the
system time zone when handling Date fields.

Problem conclusion

  • Date fields are no longer showing incorrect results when the
TRIRIGA user exporting the Excel is configured with a different
time zone than the time zone of the TRIRIGA AppServer.
This is targeted to the 1h2017 release.
