APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Export of forms fail to generate object migration package.

Local fix

  • NA

Problem summary

  • The issue was that Form query action urls that did not have the
&reportName parameter were failing to export, as om export
functionality was expecting  an "&" when parsing the url to
retreive the report id. During the development of 3.5.2 there
was a change to remove &reportName from Form action urls.
Although the App OM package correctly has a &reportName on all
the urls it delivers, upgraded environments will have
&reportName removed for Form url actions they were not part of
the app om package. When an attempt to export these forms is
made, the failure will occur.

Problem conclusion

  • The fix is to have OM Export handle the situation where an "&"
is not found in the url.
This is targeted to the 3.5.2 refresh and 3.5.2.1 fix pack.
