Error description

  • A query with records in a mixture of currencies. When exported,
    the currency will be shown correctly in the currency column for
    a field. However, the currency symbol will use the regional
    currency.

Problem summary

  • The issue was that we were not handling cusom uom formats with
    our POI export logic. The fix is to use POI capalities to
    create custom uom formats and have them applied to the
    appropriate Excel cells during Excel export.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Resolved a query export to Excel issue where currency symbols
    were not correctly applied to the Excel spreadsheet.
    This is targeted to the 1h2017 release
