APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using "What If" function it causing javecores and
performance issues with Workload Service Assurance

Local fix

  • Limit number of objects alloud to run in what-if scenarios
by setting the parameter in TdwcGlobalSettings.xml:
<WhatIf>
    <property name="whatIfJobsMaxNumber" value="1000"/>
</WhatIf>

Problem summary

  • Disable the what if button, when user specifies 0 as
whatIfJobsMaxNumber in global settings


To test:
set in the TdwcGlobalSettings.xml:

     <WhatIf>
    <property name="whatIfJobsMaxNumber" value="0"></property>
     </WhatIf>

Problem conclusion

  • This apar will be fixed    9.3.0-TIV-TDWC-FP0003
